6 Things You Don’t Know About Moses Krell

Moses Krell

Moses Krell wakes up excited to come to work at Salon Red. Why? He loves to make people feel beautiful. At 22 years old, Moses discovered he could earn a living, work around beautiful women all day, and satisfy his creative passions all while working with hair. He started his career with Salon Red in 2002, apprenticing under Jessica Soler, Salon Red’s owner.  Prior to that he entertained dreams of being a rock star and he performed with a band that played all over the southeast. Moses feels the two very different career paths have a lot of similarities, “When you’re up on stage performing and singing to a crowd of strangers you have to connect with them. It’s a lot like having a new client in your chair, you must build that same type of connection so they will trust you.”  We at Salon Red are delighted he chose to follow his passion to “perform,” and Moses rocks out hair styles daily at Salon Red Brookhaven. The Story of Salon Red 2015

The Story of Salon Red- Jessica Soler

VISION – CREATIVITY – STRENGTHS – EXPERIENCE

WHY SALON RED?

We love our community, caring for, and serving our guests as individuals and through experience. This year I am pushing the envelope with my team to grow through trial and error as we open ourselves up to new adventures.

This is an endeavor that is very personal for me and a lot of blood, sweat and tears have happened over the sixteen years to bring me to this part of my journey. To say that I am SUPER EXCITED is an understatement. I hope you will follow this blog each month to see how our story unfolds this year.

I would also like to take this opportunity and introduce a new addition to the Salon Red brand, our CREATIVE TEAM: Misti Dort, Madison Silva, Jasmine Howard, Brie Nichols, Zach Davis, Britany Means, Nikki Thomas, Elise Kelly, Kat Alexander, and Jacq Tackett. This team of ten will be led by creative visionary Jessica Soler. Not only will the team be working here in Atlanta but they will focus on projects and education nationwide. It will be our mission to not only invoke creative influences in each other, our company and community, but to help expand our impact in our industry.

Please take a look at the faces of our Creative Team in this short video:

Several Members of the Team (including myself) are currently working on projects to enter a competition by Bumble and Bumble, inspired by their Global Artistic Director Laurent Philippon’s book, Fashion and Fantasy. Here is a sneak peak at some of what I’ve been working on to share throughout the year…

I cannot wait to share more of our passions and visions!!!!!

Jessica Soler, Owner

Serious Business for Salon Red

Serious Business for Salon Red

The Serious Business 2015 conference will be held in NOLA, January 18-19 in the New Orleans Theatre at the Convention Center. Along with Jessica Soler, Salon Red is sending two first timers, stylists Madison Silva and Misti Dort, both who work in our  Downtown Decatur Location. The theme of the conference this year is “Naked,” as in practicing transparency in business. Recent studies have shown the benefits of transparency; it is not only ethical, but it is good for the growth of a business, as well as an individual.
