Candice Poucher – Level 3 Stylist

I have been working professionally as a stylist since 2011. Salon Red was there for me upon graduation, and I worked my way up as an assistant. Since beginning my career in the hair industry, I found a passion for hair coloring, including balayage and ombré, personalized haircuts for both men and women, and beautiful blowouts. I also specialize in vintage hairstyles, like page boys, Hollywood waves, pin curls, and mid-century updos. I enjoy combining classic and modern techniques in my work with all types of hair. I love working with fashion color lines such as Pulp Riot and Pravana. I am currently working with Wella Professionals Hair Color, creating beautiful tones and shades for an array of styles and personalities and professionals. I am a bit of a product junkie, and have several favorites in Bumble and Bumble, Oribé, and Davines. I look forward to meeting new people, and helping to create your desired look! I have been published in several on-line magazines in connection with the Georgia Pinup Posse since 2015, participating in many photo shoots both behind the scenes and in front of the camera. I have been featured in Beach Beauties Magazine, Pinups and Hotrods, and Baba Lou’s Beauties. In addition to photo shoots, I have sponsored hair and wigs for special events, such as Naked Girls Reading, Inuhele Tiki Weekend, Day of the Cupcake, and Blast-Off Burlesque’s Taboo-La-La. Before I moved to Atlanta in 2007, I spent nearly a decade living in New York City

immersed in it’s vibrant rock and roll culture and eclectic art scene. While living in Brooklyn, I attended Hunter College, where I received my B.A. in Women’s Studies, was a part of the Feminist Women’s Coalition, and interned at Dress for Success in Manhattan,. In Atlanta, I volunteer at the Feminist Women’s Health Center and am highly involved in my child’s school, International Community School.
