Salon Red Q & A: When We Re-Open

Salon Red wants to assure you that your health and well-being, as well as that of our team members, is of the utmost importance. ​As a company, we have taken even further steps to protect the health and wellbeing of our clients and team members. We are following the guideline from the CDC.

Q.   How will sanitation & hygiene protocols be implemented on the salon floor?  

A.  EPA registered disinfectant will be readily available to all staff on the salon floor to ensure proper sanitization of all workstations between each and every client and we will continue to follow State Board guidelines to sanitize all tools. 

Hand sanitizer will be available for use at each workstation. 

The beverage station will have limited access by select staff members and all beverages will be served in disposable cups.

We also will have masks and gloves on hand.  

Q. Will there be new guidelines set for salon capacity? 

A. Until the government regulates otherwise, we have limited the capacity to 10 people. We ask that you do not bring anyone with you to the salon if they are not receiving a service. With this being said, it is IMPERATIVE that all clients limit the amount of last-minute cancellations/reschedules. Please see our ​cancellation policy​ below. We also ask that if you are showing signs of illness please call and reschedule your appointment as we reserve the right to cancel any appointment if signs of illness are shown. 

Because capacity may be limited at the time of booking your appointment, we will extend our working hours to ensure all clients will be able to schedule an appointment efficiently. 

We will have one empty work station left between each client chair.

Q. Will I still be able to call or walk in to book an appointment?  

A. Yes, we will always have a receptionist ready to assist all clients. However, we are encouraging all clients to create an account on our secured booking system, Aura. You can create your account here: ​https://red.aurasalonware.com​  

We also recommend that you prepare your gratuity for your stylist with cash or square is still available.

This will allow you to check out with your stylist at the salon chair eliminating any contact of each other phones which will eliminate the transfer of germs and ensure express check out.

Cancellation/No Show/Late Appointments Policy
Your appointments are very important to us! We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel, reschedule or “no show” your appointment within less than 24 hours before your scheduled time slot, you will be charged for half of the cost of the original service booked. Online booked appointments require a credit card to hold the appointment and the card on file will be charged accordingly if you cancel, reschedule or “no show” your appointment within the 24 hours time frame. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment time, you may be required to reschedule. Some appointments require a credit card to hold times whether booked online or via phone.
