Beat The Heat: 3 Steps to Silky Smooth Hair All Summer Long

06.06.2014

Summer heat waves are here already, and odds are you’re already starting to experience some of the frizz-fried and wild hair that comes with all that heat! Bumble & bumble’s Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil has long been the go to product to protect hair from heat, and smooth out those frizzy fly-aways, but it’s the newly launched Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil family that’s going to be the real hero this summer!

Step 1: Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Shampoo:this light weight shampoo combines 6 essential oils that keep your hair soft and silky without weighing it down. Our resident I.T. wizard, Laura Capponi tried the entire line for herself, and says that the smell of this shampoo alone will getyou hooked! Just like all Bumble & bumble products, this special blend is super concentrated, so make sure to use only a dime to nickel size of product when washing your hair.

Step 2: Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Conditioner:Complete the moisturizing process with another layer of deep conditioning oils. Again you’ll want to use just about a dime-size amount and avoid the roots, but when used properly this conditioner leaves even the most damaged hair baby soft!

Step 3: Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer:After giving your hair all that love it’d be a shame to fry it all over again with blow drying, flat ironing, or any of your other favorite heat-styling tricks. That’s where the primer comes in to play! Spray this product on damp hair and then run your fingers through your hair for full coverage. The primer adds a protective layer that will keep your tresses safe from UV and heat damage, but also bump up the shine on your finished style.

There you have it! Three super-easy steps that give you the perfect foundation for smoothstyle all summer long. Don’t forget you can always add a little extra protection and shine with the original Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil! The whole family is now available at all Salon Red locations, so make sure to ask your stylist about it!
